Why Do Most New Year’s Resolutions Fail?

Yes, it’s that time of the year! A time to reflect. A time to plan. A time to set out to accomplish all the goals in your New Year’s resolutions. You may desire to become more motivated, more disciplined, end procrastination, save more money, make more money, perform better at your job, quit smoking, eliminate a bad habit or addiction, eat healthier, workout more, eat healthier or get in shape. Most New Year’s resolutions center around self-improvement. Hypnosis is an ideal and effective way to improve yourself, eliminate destructive habits and to regain control of your mind and your behavior. Then why do most New Year’s resolutions fail? Most people attempt to use their sheer willpower to try to accomplish their New Year’s resolutions. They just clench their fist and struggle to overcome the challenge. If you’re only using willpower, you are setting yourself up to fail. Willpower is trying to consciously do what your subconscious mind has not been programmed and conditioned to do. When you are using willpower, you are actually battling against yourself. Your conscious or thinking mind is doing the opposite of what your subconscious has been doing for a long time. BUT, there is an easier way… Instead of fighting against yourself, hypnosis will allow your mind to become more balanced. Your whole being will be onboard and want to achieve the same goals. Every part of your mind will desire the same thing. Hypnosis is one of the easiest and most efficient ways to overcome many obstacles and/or challenges. You can use power of hypnosis to draw the success you want into your life. How Bad Do You Desire Change?? The most important factor in accomplishing the goals in your New Year’s resolutions is your desire. How bad do you want it? Are you willing to do anything and everything you possibly can? Are you willing to make sacrifices? Can you overcome the sway of other people’s opinions and familiar environments? If you really desire change bad enough, you can and will be successful. But success does have a price. Often, nothing worthwhile is easy. And nothing is more satisfying as attaining the quiet mastery over ourselves. Happy New Year and thanks for reading! |

Gain Confidence & Boost Self-Esteem with Hypnosis Are you are looking to gain confidence? Feeling insecure? Stuck? Lack of motivation? The truth is, what you really want is to get your confidence 'back'. Most of us find it difficult to recall, but we were all born with confidence. At some point we just learned to not be as confident in ourselves. Hypnosis can help you gain your confidence and boost self-esteem. It’s no coincidence that most of our society’s most successful people are very self-confident and possess healthy self-esteem. They believe in themselves and in their abilities. We are all born with that confidence. But through life’s experiences and past failures we can learn to believe that we are not good enough. Often outside influences, conditioning and indirect programming can often come from teachers, parents, spouses, family, friends, coaches, TV, whoever or whatever. Through hypnosis, you will re-learn to believe in yourself, learn to have faith in yourself, begin to trust yourself and have CONFIDENCE in yourself. Like many others, you will realize; once you have regained your confidence and enhanced your self-esteem there will be very little you you won’t be able to do. You will and can accomplish any goal you set your mind to. Stop Doubting Yourself. Gain Confidence With Hypnosis. Though hypnosis, we replace thoughts of self-doubt and insecurity with confidence and healthy self-esteem will learn to gain confidence. You will discover the truth is, there is nothing and no one who can keep you from becoming the success that you desire. You will expect to succeed and you will. You will feel confidence and enthusiasm in all you do. You will replace self-doubt and fear with confidence, passion and conviction. Many people do not think of themselves as highly as they should. Hypnotherapy will help you re-gain that self-confidence you had as a little child. Boost Confidence with Hypnosis in Charlotte, NC Boosting confidence is one of the most common benefits that people receive from hypnosis, regardless what challenge their initial consultation was for. To witness a person build confidence and regain confidence is one of the most rewarding things I do as a hypnotist. The truth is, if you are feeling unworthy or inferior you can create a new self-image with hypnosis. You will be able to see yourself in a new light as confident, successful, self-reliant and sure of yourself. A lack of self-confidence is often root of most challenges and issues I work with as a hypnotherapist. Fears, anxiety, depression, weight issues, sleep disorders, all these can stem from and be attributed to poor self-esteem and lack of confidence. Increase your confidence with hypnosis. Commit to yourself. Trust yourself. Believe in yourself. And you will be amazed at what you will be able to accomplish! Call today, I can help. 704.336.9356 Thanks for reading! |

Eliminate Insomnia with Hypnosis Hypnosis has been scientifically proven to help with a number of challenges, insomnia has been effectively overcome as well with hypnosis in Charlotte, NC. Think about it, who knows more about making people sleepy but a hypnotist? Recent studies have indicated the number of people suffering from insomnia and the use of prescribed and over the counter medication is on the rise. “Sleep is increasingly being recognized as important to public health, with sleep insufficiency linked to motor vehicle crashes, industrial disasters, and medical and other occupational errors. Unintentionally falling asleep, nodding off while driving, and having difficulty performing daily tasks because of sleepiness all may contribute to these hazardous outcomes. Persons experiencing sleep insufficiency are also more likely to suffer from chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, depression, and obesity, as well as from cancer, increased mortality, and reduced quality of life and productivity.” (Source: cdc.gov) Let’s face it, more and more people have trouble sleeping. It’s probably safe to assume that anywhere between 85-90% of the population simply do not get the right amount of sleep and more importantly, many are not getting a quality, restorative sleep. It’s not just quantity (the amount of hours), but also the quality of the sleep. How deep and restful is the sleep? Tossing and turning? Getting up frequently throughout the night? Insomnia Help in Charlotte NC – Sleep Well, Wake Refreshed I typically don’t like to focus on the problem, I prefer to focus on the solutions. That’s the why I do not like to use the word “insomnia”. I would much rather talk about improving sleep, rejuvenating and waking restored. Not allowing things worry you so you can drift and fall into a deep, restful sleep every night. I’m talking about help for insomnia here with the hopes of reaching people who are looking to overcome insomnia and desire to sleep soundly and wake rejuvenated and restored. Many people seem to be searching for insomnia help instead of techniques to improve their sleep. First, Stop Telling Yourself That You Have Insomnia The main issue with labeling yourself as having “insomnia” is that your are claiming the issue as part of you and this allows the problem to become more ingrained in your mind as a “part of you”. The monster becomes stronger and more insurmountable. I find the best way to eliminate the issue of is to remove the fangs from the monster! It’s a common issue, but it’s really not that huge of a problem. The challenge can be handled a lot easier than you may think. Understand that getting back to a healthy sleep routine is the most natural thing in the world. The main reason people have trouble falling asleep is because of stress, anxiety, doubts, and worries. Trying to deal with all of that, and then reminding yourself you have insomnia only compounds the problem, often making it worse. How you talk to yourself makes all the difference in the world. Hypnosis is an excellent therapeutic drug-free method to eliminate insomnia. We use hypnosis and other techniques to teach you how to relax and calm your mind and body and awake refreshed. These methods allow you to be at peace and the things that used to keep you up at night just won’t seem to trouble you the way they once did. The Many Benefits of Hypnosis

Does hypnosis work? Can it help me? What are the benefits? These are the most frequently asked questions when people consider going to see a hypnotherapist. Some people may be understandably a little apprehensive about considering hypnosis as a treatment, usually because of misconceptions by what they have seen on the television or in films. But when you really think about the scientifically proven benefits that can come from hypnosis you’ll see why it's beginning to become a first choice treatment option instead of a last resort option for many. Over the past few years, we have all started to see more and more people are starting to focus on more natural alternative treatments in order to solve many physical health and mental health challenges. There is a growing body of scientific research supporting the use of hypnosis and its benefits for treating a wide range of conditions, including weight loss, smoking, pain, stress, post-menopausal hot flashes, anxiety and phobias. "Hypnosis works and the empirical support is unequivocal in that regard. It really does help people," says Michael Yapko, PhD, a psychologist and fellow of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Hypnosis creates a highly relaxed state of inner concentration and focused attention for clients, and this technique can be customized to alleviate many conditions. Clients also become more empowered by learning self-hypnosis at home to reduce chronic pain, improve sleep, or alleviate some symptoms of depression or anxiety. If you’re like me, then you’ve either gone through or perhaps you're currently going through some personal challenges. Hypnosis has been proven to be a quick, safe and natural method for overcoming some of life’s challenges. Let’s find out more about some of them! Hypnosis can help ease Chronic Pain. Hypnosis has been most well-researched in the context of managing chronic pain and pain resulting from serious injury. Two meta-analyses of existing pain and hypnosis research, published in 2000 and 2009, cited hypnosis effective at lowering pain associated with a number of conditions, including fibromyalgia, arthritis and cancer. A 2013 study found that among post-menopausal women who reported at least 50 hot flashes a week, five weekly hypnosis sessions cut hot flashes by 74 percent at least 12 weeks later. Calms Nerves Hypnosis has the ability to harness the powerful abilities of the mind, its often used to relieve anxieties related to medical procedures, like surgery, scans or even giving birth. Weight Loss Hypnosis can help people change their eating habits and adopt healthy food choices, become motivated to exercise, eliminate cravings for unhealthy foods and drop the pounds! According to a Vanderbilt University review of the scientific literature, hypnosis works best for weight loss when combined with a sensible weight management plan and exercise. Stress Reduction Stress can cause multiple illnesses like diabetes, a very high blood pressure and even heart diseases. With hypnosis, your mind will be trained to relax upon command and thus the chances of acquiring such conditions will decrease drastically. Stop Smoking At the 2011 annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association, Jose Maldonado, MD, associate professor of psychiatry at Stanford University, reported that the success rate of hypnosis for smoking cessation may be as high as 64 percent. Sleep disorders can be caused by stress or a variety of other issues, but hypnosis manages to interact with the psychological factors that cause such a problem and thus you will be able to feel much better and maintain a state of mental health unlike never before. Hypnosis can help treat the underlying psychological problem that is causing the sleep disturbance while at the same time it puts the body in a deeply relaxed state that helps the body and mind become rested and revitalized. Hypnosis to help treat Anxiety and Depression Some people are hesitant to take medication as a treatment for anxiety and depression because they don’t want to become dependent on these notoriously addictive medications. Other people are unable to find a medication that works effectively for them. Hypnosis is a drug-free and effective way to calm anxiety and to treat the symptoms of depression. By using hypnotic suggestions to eliminate the triggers of anxiety and depression. People that struggle with depression and anxiety are able to sometimes find complete relief from these conditions by using hypnosis. All in all, the benefits of hypnosis are numerous. Allow yourself to experience how hypnosis can help you now. Feel free to call us today to find out how. Thanks for reading! |
